After he made his own pair of wings, our hero’s ready to take his giant leap…
This illustration I made by the story of Jonah, the prophet that tried to run away from his mission he got from God.
It’s about the well famous part in the story that the boat he’s travelling with comes in the middle of an enormous storm.
Jonah gets ‘kicked’ out of the boat, and after that a big fish swallows him, to spit him out tree day later nearby Nineveh,
the place he tried to avoid so hard…
I made this illustration for my parents.
It hangs now in their livingroom.
Sketches I made for the illustrations for De Kanjers pt. 2, written by Liesbeth Morren.
Now working on the real job: making good illustrations out of it!
The book will be published by De Vuurbaak, Barneveld.

Mr. Pirate has a problem: his wife finds him early in the morning asleep under influence in the local pub (again)…
“So here you are, mister! Probably you love the rum more than me! If you even want to come back home, someday, you better prove you love me!”
So in fact, here the adventures of mr. Pirate start, because the prove for his love is nothing less than finding a treasure for his wife…
“Son, you’re giving me a reason to stay…”
Father Dragon speaks to his son, who did find him after a long and musically interesting search.
Illustration I made last year for a story that’s in my head for a long time now.
Someday you may find it in the bookstores 🙂
