A History of Flying

For a new project I’m busy with I made the folowing illustration.
The story of the project is about a boy who’s wish to fly is going very far.
It even might go too far…

Here the boy’s looking to birds that fly above him and he imagines how it would be to have wings himself…

IF: Water / Jonah

This illustration I made by the story of Jonah, the prophet that tried to run away from his mission he got from God.
It’s about the well famous part in the story that the boat he’s travelling with comes in the middle of an enormous storm.
Jonah gets ‘kicked’ out of the boat, and after that a big fish swallows him, to spit him out tree day later nearby Nineveh,
the place he tried to avoid so hard…

I made this illustration for my parents.
It hangs now in their livingroom.

Illustration Friday – Stay

“Son, you’re giving me a reason to stay…”
Father Dragon speaks to his son, who did find him after a long and musically interesting search.

Illustration I made last year for a story that’s in my head for a long time now.
Someday you may find it in the bookstores 🙂

For now, it’s my illustration friday drawing for the topic ‘Stay’.
